About Rick Hanson

Rick Hanson, Ph.D., is a psychologist, Senior Fellow of the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, and New York Times best-selling author. His books are available in 26 languages and include Hardwiring Happiness, Buddha’s Brain, Just One Thing, and Mother Nurture. He edits the Wise Brain Bulletin and has numerous audio programs.     Thanks a lot Dr Hanson. The last ten minutes of your talk describe a true situation in most Argentinian classrooms and surely I will do my best to change this sense of frustration I feel after 26 years of teaching by using ths technique of ” making an offering ” without solely focusing on the outccome any longer. You made me cry (and that is good ! )

    Please try to scale up & spread the Mindful Education campaign, globally, making it a mass movement.
    Think BIG and be BOLD since this movement could potentially bring awareness to other issues
    like climate change & spread of terrorism/fundamentalism
